Laundry and Cookies

The kids like to throw baskets of clean laundry on the couch.  One day there was something moving in the laundry.

What could it be?

It felt as if the laundry was staring at us.

And smiling at us too.

Ha Ha. It was Matthew.

A day or so after Thanksgiving we put up the Smith Family Christmas Tree!

It's full of homemade ornaments from the kids - and most of those candy canes have already been eaten.

Tree decorating is a lot of work and Matthew fell asleep sitting up at the dinner table.

Jon had and lost another hillbilly tooth in the front.  I guess all he wants for Christmas is his two front teeth this year.

Peter turned into the Incredible Hulk Pete.

Brian and Matthew hanging out.

The kids and I also baked some cookies.

Spritz.

'Twas a little crowded around the cookie sheet.

To the victor the spoils!  First Spritz of the season!

The results of our hard work.  Several bags of cookies for Christmas and twice that many for the freezer.

Stay tuned for our lunch at McDonald's while out and about.

Hey, looks like fun. I really like the laundry mouse. The cookies look great. I sure miss the spritz, they are soooo good.

Love ya, Grampa.
