Spy Game

^^ New Title Picture ^^

:)

I was trying to think of fun things for the kids to do after the hurricane came through.  I found this idea online and had been saving it.  Even though the power came back on sooner than we expected, I decided to go ahead and play this game anyway.

James helped me set it up.

He stretched painter's tape across the hallway and put some Kit Kat bars at the end.

He told the kids (the agents) that they were due in Headquarters immediately for the mission briefing.

They all gathered in James' room where he showed them this picture.

He explained that their mission was to make it past the many tripwires and recover the item at the end of the hallway.

Then we sent them out to the field to attempt their mission.

Everyone took a turn.

Here is Agent 005 waiting his turn.  What is that look??

Finally it was 007's turn.

It was easier for him because he just crawled under everything.

And he recovered the treasure at the end.

They had a good time and wanted to go through it again.

Even the tape was fun for sticking to Matthew's tummy after they were done.

In all it was a great 'rainy day' activity and more fun that I thought it would be for them.

Stay tuned to find out what Jon and Andrew made for dinner on their night to cook.
