Scouting Mission

Our scouting mission went well last weekend.  Andrew gets a big party this summer when he turns 5.  I mean, we can't invite all of our friends to all of our birthdays every year right?  We'll all go broke!  So, we do a party at 5, 10, 13 - and then we'll see after that.  That is the plan as of now anyway.

So, we scoped out a park a bit north of here - still in BR though.  It has a new playground and a splash pad (an area with sprinklers) for the kids to play on.  It looks really nice so I think I'll reserve the pavilion for a Saturday in June.  As we go to print, the chosen theme is superheroes.  We'll see if it holds.

It was windy and 50 degrees - I was freezing!  So I talked the kids off of the playground with promises of ice cream.  How messed up is that?

50? That's when I put my shorts on. Looks like a nice park. Should be warm enough in June for the splash pad. Miss you too.
