Six Weeks

Grace is six weeks old today.

Isn't she a cutie??

She's spending more time awake and alert now - looking at everyone and smiling a lot.  She's also making little baby cooing noises which the kids love.  Matthew still spends a lot of time kissing her head, arms, legs and feet.

When he wasn't kissing her, he played outside.

Swinging by the mud puddle.

We went to Target this week.
As we were checking out, Peter found a mirror.

Actually it was a one-way glass window for the security office at Target.  He got so close to it and started making faces.  We couldn't help but laugh wondering what the people inside thought.

Spongebob fruit snacks man!

We tried a new restaurant last week too.

I got the chicken shawarma and gyro combo platter.

Brian got the beef shawarma.

It was good, but not as good as that other place we like to go.

We took this little girl to church for the first time yesterday.  She got to see lots of new people.
One older gentleman who sits by us said "Sha bebe!" a couple of times.

Some of our friends say it too.

She slept about half way through and then I took her to the nursery. She did pretty good for her first time there.

Sha bebe! She looks like Matthew in the first pic. I don't know what that stuff on the plate was, but it didn't look like food to me. 7 weeks. See ya then.

The food is chicken and lamb (i think) with hummus and pita bread. Don't worry Grampa, it's edible. You just have to give it a try. If you really want to try it we'll take you to our favorite Greek place if you're good ;) And, Gramma, you have to catch Matthew first - but Gracie can't run yet so she's easy!
