Seven Weeks

I know, I know - you're all wondering where today's post is.  Well, here it is!

Grace is 7 weeks old today.

She spent some time hanging out with Daddy and Andrew.

And she wore her fancy head band.  It's a southern thing I think.

Also this last week,

Grace (and James) had tummy time!

James is really good at lifting his head (show off!)

Jon and Faith spent some tummy time with Grace too!

She's a cutie!

She's quite popular around here!

We visited LSU's Hilltop Arboretum too.  It's right around the corner and it's taken us nearly 7 years to get there.

There was some kind of building.  It was closing as we arrived so we didn't go in.

A walking path

Pretty flowers

Christmas Berry

A very large tree

And some plants (in the background) for sale.

Kids with a flowerpot dude.

On the way home the kids were talking about fish sticks.  They had never had them so we decided we were going to get some and have them for dinner that week.

James: "Do you want fish sticks, Grace?"
Peter:  "She's to young to go fishing!  But WE aren't!"

We all laughed because we realized that Peter was thinking that "fish sticks" were fishing poles.  It was pretty funny (and maybe a little sad!)

Thanks for tuning in, and I'll leave you with this parting shot.

Hopefully it will carry you over until the next post!

Cool place. Looks you need to get Peter up here to go fishing with Grampa. Cool shades Matthew.
