Grace is 5 Weeks Old

Today Grace is 5 weeks old.  Time sure flies.  

I got the pictures back from her photo shoot.  I will share just a couple here.  Expect to see more on her birth announcements which I finally ordered and hopefully will get back soon so I can send them out.  

So cute!  We got quite a few good pictures.

We've been hanging out at home the last week.

Matthew Turns 3

Three years ago Matthew was born.  

Ready to go home from the hospital. 

Since then he's grown fast. 

First birthday picnic at the park.

Second birthday party.

And yesterday we celebrated his third birthday with a small party at home. 

Faith made him a chocolate birthday cake. 

Then he opened presents. 

Despite the excitement, Grace slept through most of the party.

One Month Old

Grace is one month old today.  Things continue to be busy around here.

Grace has gotten out of the house a few times this week.  She went twice to the store and once to a friend's baby shower.

On the way to a baby shower for a friend.  Grace was seen by lots of people but she didn't see anyone because she slept the whole time we were there.

 

Three Weeks

Grace is three weeks old today.  Quickly sharing a few pictures from my phone of our little girl.

Hanging Out!

We've been laying low this last week.  Spending a lot of time at home.  

Matthew was hard at work on the computer. 

Is he programming like Daddy?  

Doing school work like James?  

Oh, he's just playing Tinker.

We've spent a lot of time on the couch with Peter reading knock-knock jokes.

And checking out Baby Grace. 

I had my birthday also.  

Faith baked me a strawberry cake - my favorite!  

Matthew waited patiently for his piece of cake.

2 Weeks!

Grace is two weeks old today.  It has been a busy two weeks.

She had her first bath.

One day last week a friend of mine - and a friend of hers - came over to visit. 

Grace had her first official photo shoot right there in our living room. 

She's a model, you know what I mean . . .

Grandma and Grandpa Smith left this afternoon.  We want to thank them for being here for us when Grace was born.  We really appreciate it!  

Grace Elisabeth Smith

One week ago we welcomed our newest blessing, Grace Elisabeth.  She was born Monday February 24, 2014 at about 3:39 pm.  

She was 9 lbs 9 oz and 21 inches long.  

After two nights in the hospital, we brought her home to meet everyone.
