The next day dawned bright and sunny, so after a quick breakfast we headed out to the beach.
Matthew tried surfing.
Our days went something like this: Out to the beach in the morning, inside for lunch and the hottest parts of the afternoon and then out to the beach again in the evening.
Matthew sees something strange in the sand . . .
It's Daddy's foot!
He was trying to get the sand off. He didn't like people to be buried in the sand.
The big kids did some digging and construction on the beach.
Faith made a volcano.
Matthew and Daddy played in the water.
Alyssa dug a big hole.
James made a sand castle.
Each day there was a flag on the beach to let you know the swimming conditions.
We used our phone to look up what each flag meant.
Throughout the week we had some single red and some yellow flags.
And sometimes this flag flew.
Matthew put himself to bed that night. He was pooped out from so much running on the beach.

Very nice pics. Looks like everyone was having a good time. Glad it was Dad's toes in the sand and not a crab or something! :)
Awesome! Glad to see you had some sunshine. Hope the water was warm. Just waiting for the next installment..........Lalalalalalalalalammmmmmmm.
