James and Jon and Crawfish

We celebrated James' first year of college with pizza and some Xbox. 

Here's to a fun summer for him! 

Tomorrow is round 2 of crawfish boils for us. 

I plan to take some pictures tomorrow to share.  We had a boil last weekend with our homeschooling friends. 

Here is a picture, taken by a friend, of Jonathan at the crawfish table.  He had a respectable little pile of heads and shells there.  I think he liked it. 

He's Done! (And mouse news)

Today James took his last final exam.  So he is done with his first year of school!  Yay James! 

Can you say 'Math Party'?? 

Tonight we are celebrating with pizza and games.  I will try and post some pictures in a couple of days. 

Also, in mouse news . . . you may remember the post where Brian caught a mouse in the lid of our BBQ grill.  Well the other day I was coming home from somewhere and I was met at the door with lots of excitement. 

"Mom!  Come and see a surprise for you!" 

Wow!  I thought - maybe an early Mother's Day present.  The kids lead me to the patio door and showed me

a little mouse head and some intestines. 

Believe it or not - I WAS excited!!  This meant that something had eaten one of the mice terrorizing our patio. 

Yay!

Just Checking . . .

I haven't had time to post anything lately but ran into an issue with my photos.  I thought that maybe my web album was full.  Every time I put a picture on the blog it uploads it to a Picasa web album and it is saying I'm at 100%.  So I wanted to add a few photos and see if it would let me.

In other news . . . James finished his second final exam today.  Three more tests and then SUMMER BREAK.  It's a good thing.

Come along to Albertson's with us. 

They have these really cool carts that look like cars.  There is a police car cart and a taxi cart. 

Unfortunately those were unavailable that day.

So we were forced to take the pink car. 

It's all good though.

Shopping with 7 kids is a tricky business. 

  It's helpful if you know what you need and can get in and get out as quickly as possible. 

Speed is your friend.
